Position: Marketing/Business/Fashion Intern

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Major Cities across the UK

Overview:

Join us at SO-ME, where we're tackling the chaos of online shopping head-on. As a marketing, business, or fashion intern, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to transform the way users discover and shop for fashion items. Picture this: an app that cuts through the noise of traditional search engines and endless scrolling on social commerce platforms, delivering tailored recommendations straight to the user's fingertips. With SO-ME, it's all about simplifying the shopping experience and putting you in control. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to drive user acquisition through campaigns, guerrilla marketing tactics, and by engaging with potential users in the circles you socialise in. Together, we'll reshape the online shopping landscape, making it easier and more enjoyable for users to find exactly what they're looking for.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise guerrilla marketing tactics to drive new users to the app, including but not limited to:
    • Acting as a brand ambassador online and in-person

    • Manage events where attendees participate in interactive social media challenges, sharing their experiences and tagging SO-ME for visibility (expenses covered)

    • Circulating social events to distribute promotional materials, and encourage app downloads.

    • Encourage others to join the community through organic conversations and word-of-mouth marketing.

  • Possibility of transitioning into an in-house role as Growth Manager based on demonstrated performance and potential, including effectiveness in driving user engagement and growth through guerrilla marketing initiatives.

Ideal requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a marketing, business, or fashion-related degree program.

  • Strong passion for marketing and the fashion industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative thinking and ability to adapt to various marketing strategies.

  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve goals and targets.
